Brass Quartets...

Absolute Brass were formed in the spring of 2007. Comprising current students and graduates from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music, the group aims to promote contemporary brass chamber repertoire alongside the performance of more traditional music. Its members boast a wealth of experience in the field of brass chamber music including masterclasses with Onyx Brass and Canadian Brass, appearances at the inter-collegiate brass quintet competition and numerous concerts around south Wales and the southwest of England. Members of the ensemble are also actively involved with educational work in schools, introducing children to the world of brass instruments
